We are five mates from Leeds who built a website to share everything we know about home improvement. We are not a call centre, we are not a corporation and there is no automated response system waiting to acknowledge your email with a ticket number.
If you have a question, a suggestion, a topic you would like us to cover or just want to tell us something has helped you — drop us a line. We genuinely enjoy hearing from people who use the site.

We get asked fairly regularly whether Stuart, Amanda, Mike, Sarah or Andy are available for hire. The honest answer is that this site exists to share advice rather than offer services directly — but we are always happy to point people in the right direction if you are struggling to find a decent tradesperson in your area. Just mention it in your email.
